This is so exciting!!

My Sister and I posted our first challenge this past week to make a card with no stamping. We had three people participate in addition to ourselves; well...we said we would give the top three participants some really good GOODS and guess what? EVERYONE IS A WINNER!! YEAH!!! It doesn't get any easier than that!! :)

So I already have Dana and Julee's address, just need to get an address from Tanis and we will get your goods out in the mail. YEAH!! Congratulations to all three of you and THANK YOU for participating in our challenge! All of your cards were wonderful!!

No stamping: Part II

I made another "no stamping" card while trying to kill a little time this morning. Still have to clean my house before my Dad's arrival at 1:05 this afternoon (yes, I am very excited about his visit!!) but I have plenty of time for that. Heck, I have so much time that I may even get a little yard work done. LOLOLOL Yeah right! Uh huh, sure Karrie, feed us another line. :)

Without further ado, here is my latest creation...

Hello

Details, details:

Stamps: Uhhhh NONE!!

Cardstock: Ruby Red, Mod Designer Paper by Autumn Leaves

Ink: Come on now....NONE!!

Misc: Sizzix Go Slim Alpha (got this for $20 smokin' deal if you ask me!!), Mod Brads & poxy stickers

Super easy! I think I may have to do some serious mail outs this week. I have too many cards laying around. Don't you feel sorry for me? LOL

Oh my goodness, I almost spaced this, guess who has new stamps out???? The Cat's Pajamas!!! Yeppers, put my order in this morning. GRINNING EAR TO EAR OVER HERE!! I am so excited! I have visions of new cards running through my head. The sooner I get those stamps the better! I also put in another AMUSE order this week. They were having a sale, I couldn't pass it up. :)

Alright, well, I better get my day started. I want to get some packages ready to mail for tomorrow. Oh, and if you have time today, make sure you participate in the challenge my Sister and I have going on through the end of today.

Happy Memorial Day Peeps! :)

Challenge submissions due tomorrow!!!

Have you completed your challenge submission? Are you even playing? If not, how come??? :) Are you trying to tell me that you all have something better to do? I mean really, who has a life outside of stamping? What is it? A three day weekend or something? A holiday? Nope, sorry, your excuse isn't going to cut it, you better hurry up. Tomorrow will be here before you know it!!

What? You don't know what I am talking about? Oh geez, well, let me refresh your memory...click here or here. So, what do you think? Do you have enough stuff laying around that you can participate in our challenge? If so, I expect your comment below or in my email box and if you don't want to send your submission to me, you can also send it to my Sis. :)

Alright, so did anyone stamp today or was it just me? Here's what I made...
Birthdaywishes

I am so lovin' this paper from CTMH! And it matches perfectly with Pixie Pink & Apricot Appeal!!

Here are the details:

Stamps: Papertrey Inc Butterfly Kisses, SU! Circle of Friendship

Cardstock: CTMH background paper, Apricot Appeal, Pixie Pink & Whisper White

Inks: Apricot Appeal, Pixie Pink and Black Staz-On

Misc: Cuttlebug Flower Die & Bubble Embossing Folder, Misc Daisy Trim and SU! small circle punch

Enjoy Peeps!! And hey, don't forget to participate in our challenge, okay? :)

Toodles!

I kiss my dog on the lips!

Okay, before you say anything, I only kiss one of my dogs on the lips (Bailey) and it is not REALLY on her lips it's more like getting close and tickling her little whiskers. She likes it...I know she does cause she lets me do it all the time. LOL

I picked up these totally cool stamps from Paula Best at the stamp convention I went to last fall. It was last fall, right Dana? It's ben so long I can't remember now.

Old age, it's really starting to affect me lately... LOL

So here is the cute card I made tonight, it's actually Molly and not Bailey (only because Molly's color shows up better on white cardstock). I get such a kick out of this saying...

Molly

Stamps: Paula Best & SU! Tropical Turf Wheel

Cardstock: More Mustard, Mellow Moss (haven't used this color in awhile), Really Rust and Whisper White

Inks: Timber Brown Staz-On, More Mustard, Mellow Moss, Really Rust & Ruby Red

Misc: SU! large tag punch, Cuttlebug scallop die & bubble embossing folder, slit punch, Copper brass hodgepodge brad & Martha Stewart Twill tape

And now, I must clean up and hit the sack. Do you see the insane hour I am posting at? Goodness, this is just ridiculous. I guess I am trying to get the most out of every hour/minute of my vacation. LOL

PLUS, look at this:

Img_1816

Callie is LAYING on my Stamp N Scrub pad!! Do you know what a pain it is going to be to get her cat hair off of that?? URGH!! Yep. definitely time for me to hit the sack! LOL

Okay Peeps, I hope you have a great night, see ya tomorrow! :)

That was FAST!!

Julee aka Shadowcatcher already guessed who gave me my first stamp...it was my DAD!! See her post below:

What a well-loved stamp. I'm guessing your Dad gave it to you. My dad gave me a stationary pad with a litle bear on it and a letter to me on the first page when I was young and I've treasured it for over 20 years. A bit ragged and well-worn, but loved, all the same.

Posted by: Julee T. (Shadowcatcher) | May 26, 2007 at 11:25 AM

My Dad gave me the stamp on one of my birthdays when I was MUCH younger. I was collecting bears at the time. No collection is complete without a bear stamp, right? :) Anyway, I blame my obsession with stamps on my Dad.

And Dad, if you are reading this... it is all YOUR fault I spend so much money on stamps!! LOLOLOL

Anywho, Congratulations Julee!! Send me your snail addy and I will get your goodie out in the mail on Tuesday, YEAH!!!!

20,000 hits??? Is it possible?

Oh my goodness, did you see my counter? This is crazy! When did this happen? I am so amazed! It seems like yesterday that I just started blogging, in a few more months it will be a YEAR! Insane!

What is more amazing... did you know that I was given my first stamp OVER 20 years ago? Do you know who gave it to me?? Want to guess? Want to see the stamp??

Img_1810

Doesn't he looked loved? Check this out:

Img_1811

Somehow he is permanently stained purple! LOL

I totally love this stamp, what makes it even more special is the person who gave it to me has only given me this one stamp EVER and it was my very FIRST stamp... think you know who gave it to me?

The person who can guess it first will get a special something in the mail from me. Here is a hint, it is someone in my family...

Good luck!

Look Ma, no stamps!!

So my Sis and I came up with this challenge today while chatting on the phone. Yes, we love each other sooooo much that we talk almost every day. I take that back, we do talk every day and often times two or three times a day. If we don't talk to each other we tend to go through withdrawls and it ends up feeling like we haven't talked in WEEKS!! Okay, so maybe that is more me than her, but STILL... LOL

Good grief, I just realized that I have been talking about my sister for weeks, months now. You guys have got to be sick of her by now. LOLOL Just kidding Pancho!! :)

Anywho, back to the challenge... wanna play? We challenge YOU to make a card with NO STAMPING!! Yep, you got it! Get out those scraps and get to work already. I know you have a bag of decorative paper scraps, cardstock scraps, letters, stickers, embellishments, you name it, start slapping those babies together cause we are going to pick the top three rockin' entries and send you some GOODS!! Really good GOODS!! Just link your card in our comments or email us and consider yourself entered in our drawing. We are going to play through the weekend since almost everyone has a three day holiday. YEAH!! Me? Well, I am taking all next week off, yeah baby, YEAH!!

Here is my card for the challenge:
Nostamps

Stamps: NONE!!

Cardstock: Certainly Celery & SU! Designer Paper (sorry I can't remember the name of it)

Ink: NONE!!!

Misc: SU! narrow organdy ribbon, blossom Quickutz Alpha and flower

SUPER EASY!! And? I love it! I love me!! (that was just for you Pancho...heehee) So show me what you got! I am dying to see what you all come up with and believe the good GOODS will be REALLY GOOD!

Well, that's it for now, I will catch you all tomorrow, night Peeps!! :)

I had REALLY good intentions...

of posting a card tonight but it is just not going to happen. I know, what a loser! All I can say is... I am tired, exhausted, wiped out, head bobbing, should be in bed kinda tired... but yet, here I sit with MAC in front of me typing a friggin' blog post. All because I don't want my Sister to accuse me of NOT POSTING. I know, totally stupid, but when you have a sister like mine it's better to stay up and write something...anything... LOL

I am totally just kidding, about my Sis that is. She isn't THAT bad... :) Love ya Pancho!! xoxox

On a brighter note, guess what showed up in the mail today???? YEAH FOR ME!! No, it wasn't stamps, geez, you guys are BAD. What do you think I do all day? Buy stamps? NOT! For every stamp I buy, my husband thinks he needs a new set of wheels for his truck or a new alarm system or a new computer or a new tool for the garage or new BOSE earphones for his IPOD...get where I am going here??? LOL For crying out loud, I am selling off some of my stamps just so I can buy some new ones!!

Soooo, back to my good news... I received my NEW Cards magazine in the mail today...

Cardsmag

Do you guys get this magazine? Do you love it? I do! The minute I see it in my mailbox I want to run in the house, go hide in a room and spend an hour or so pouring over the pages. The cards in here are scrumptious! Love it! If you don't have a subscription to this magazine yet, you NEED it! I know it is a little expensive but it is sooooo worth it! Just to make it easier for you, here is the LINK to the website. It's okay, I won't tell your husband. heehee

Alright, I really need to get to bed. I hope you all have a wonderful night!!

Toodles Peeps! :)
