Life's Short - eat Cupcakes!!

Last night, I could have used a cupcake! The Diamondbacks LOST very disappointing. But, we still had a GOOD time and THAT my Peeps, is what is important! :)

So this week I have been VERY busy playing with some of my FAVORITE stamps...Sprinkle, Poochie & Fifi but those items are TOP SECRET so I won't be sharing those today. (Sorry Sharon, soon though, very soon!) If you need a little Sprinkle fix, please go check out The Cat's Pajamas website. The gallery is chock full of samples and well, if you feel like shopping, Alma has PLENTY of stamps to go around! :)

I also have one more project to get done for Terry over at Creative Cuts & More that I hope to finish tomorrow and get in the mail by Monday. WHEW!! I have been burning the candle at both ends over here. Work is still requiring a LOT of overtime so if I go missing for a few days, don't worry, I am still alive, just unable to make it to the computer for play time. I totally miss you guys! You know what I feel REALLY bad about? Not being able to leave comments for you on your blogs like I used to. I think it is important to share the love and I have been a total slacker in that department! URGH! But know this, I have LOVED all of your posts, oh my goodness, you guys have been soooo BUSY! Makes me so jealous! My Sis is even kicking my butt in the creative department! If you have a minute, you should go check out her BLOG and see all the great stuff she has been posting!!

Okay, okay, enough with the chit chat, let me share a little somethin' somethin'...

This, my Peeps, is a CUPCAKE box! Yes, it actually fits a REAL cupcake in it! Oh my goodness, how COOL is THAT? Wait, I have more pics...hang on...

Couple more...

And another little detail shot...

Cause it's all about the little details, right? RIGHT! LOL So anyway, I didn't want to ruin my box by sticking a REAL cupcake in it (didn't think Terry over at Creative Cuts & More would appreciate that...heehee) so I made a fake cupcake and put it inside. I was cracking myself up over that. Seriously though, wouldn't this be the FUNNEST gift to give someone? Totally LOVE it! :)

OH!!! And the box comes with two different lids! I liked this one the best though. :)

So here are the deets Peeps:

Stamps: All from JustJohanna

Cardstock: Cupcake Box in Raspberry Splash from Creative Cuts & More & Hey Sugar from Cosmo Cricket (LOVE this paper!)

Inks: Timberbrown Staz On, Rose Red Marker & Sakura Glitter Pen

Misc: Ric Rac, Big Flat Making Memories Brad

What do you think? Would YOU want to receive a cupcake in one of these cute little boxes? I know I would. :)

Alright, well, the vacuum, laundry, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen and office are all calling my name to be cleaned. Then, after all that, I have some files that I need to get done for work as well as a run to Costco and the hopefully (crossing my fingers here) I will be able to get some more stamping in. Keep good thoughts for me! :)

See ya later Peeps!

Happy Easter Peeps!

I am going to try to post a new something or other later today but no guarantees. I had a busier weekend than expected. Oh well. I DID get a little stamping in at midnight last night but my project isn't finished yet. WHAN!! First available moment that I have though, I am RACING to the stamp desk!! heehee

No big plans for me today since it's just Robert and myself. I am wishing I was in CA today to be with my Sis and her family, they are having a BIG get together over at their house. I believe they call it "Passivist, Passover for the rest of us." I probably got that wrong but you get the geest of it. Lots of friends, food and most importantly, worship. Boy, I sure hope she posts some pictures on her BLOG (hint, hint Pancho), I am sure they are going to have a FANTASTIC time!!

What do you have planned today? Anything special? Big dinner? Easter egg hunt? Fill me in, I wanna know what my Peeps are up to! :)

Alright, I am off like a prom dress (on a Sunday too! LOL). Have a SUPER Easter and I will do my best to post something YUMMY later today! :)

P.S. What do you think of my new blog theme? I decided to play with some of the Typepad themes. This one really caught my eye because of the Easter type colors. I am actually thinking of having someone do a custom theme for me but that could be pricey. Who knows though, I might get LUCKY! LOLOL

so bummed...

I am not going to have enough time to finish my card to share with you tonight. Whan!!! But I will definitely have something for you tomorrow. I promise!!!!!! You peeps have a fantastic day tomorrow!

Karrie :)

Happy Early Easter!!

Whew, is it that time of year again already? Where does the time go? Wasn't I just wearing green to work so that I wouldn't get pinched? It certainly isn't because I am Irish. Sheesh. I mean, it doesn't get more German with a maiden name like... DEXHEIMER. LOLOL

So anyway, I made a little Easter card with my new die cut card from Creative Cuts & More. I tell you, I am sooooo in love with these die cut cards and boxes and shapes and...and... you name it! Sigh, just makes me HAPPY!!! :)

Check it out...

It's okay, you can "awwwwwwww, how sweet" out loud. I don't mind. LOL Is that bunny the cutest thing or what? Yep, not only did I get some new dies to play with from Terry over at Creative Cuts & More but I also received my order from My Favorite Things. What can I say? I have a shopping disease.  Actually, it  more of a stamping "strength." LOL

Alright, here are the deets Peeps:

Stamps: All from My Favorite Things

Cardstock: A2 Oval Window Card in Raspberry Splash from Creative Cuts & More and then a little Hey Sugar from Cosmo Cricket

Inks: Timberbrown Staz-On, Close to Cocoa, Rose Red & Sage Shadow

Misc: Paper Piercer and Sakura Glitter Pen

WHOA!!! Look at the time! I need to hit the sack! I will see you Peeps tomorrow! :)

I thought my Mermaid card was pretty cute yesterday but alas, what I may think is cute or HOT may not be what YOU think is cute or HOT...right? Right. So, I am just going to chalk that one up as a lesson learned and move on. Just for the record though... THAT CARD WAS CUTE!!! LOLOL

So here is my DUCKY card for today...

This card is going into my stack of FAVES! I love that duck! And the saying? PERFECT!

I think I am going to send this card to my Dad. He went through a phase where he said "Just Ducky" or "Ducky" all the time. Too funny. :)

Anywho, here are the deets Peeps...

Stamps: All from Rosies Roadshow

Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Very Vanilla & Wild Saffron by K & Company

Inks: Black Staz-On and YoYo Yellow

Misc: Classic Circle & Square Nesties and Brads

Alrighty then, I am off like a prom dress. See you Peeps later!

I love this saying from a-muse, definitely one of my FAVES!! Just makes me Happy, Happy! LOLOL

So I promised another fishbowl card today... I do love me some fishbowl cards! LOL I seriously think this is one of my FAVE dies cuts from Creative Cuts & More.  But this time, I decided to do an acetate fishbowl die over the top of it. YUMMY!! Oh yes Peeps, this is a definite MUST!!

Check it out...

I actually stamped the saying on the acetate in Black Staz-On and then popped the Mermaid off the acetate. All other stamping is actually on the card base and below the acetate. SOOOO COOL!! And I have to tell you, this pic DOES NOT do this card justice. can have a killer camera and still have sucky pics. LOL I know, I know, it's me, not the camera. :)

So here are the deets Peeps:

Stamps: all from a-muse

Cardstock: Fish bowl in white & acetate are both from Creative Cuts & More (hi Terry!!)

P.P.S. I see ducks in my you too???? LOLOLOL

Merci Beaucoup!

For continuing to visit my blog even though I have been MIA lately. I feel so bad about that. It's not that I don't want to blog or stamp, I DO!! But there just aren't enough hours in the day anymore. I am not going to give you the same ole boo-hoo story about why I haven't been around, I mean, it is what it is, right? RIGHT! :)

So on that note, this card is for you...

Yep, that's right, a hot little French guy JUST FOR YOU! He IS hot, isn't he? It's okay, take a minute, collect yourself, wipe the drool from your mouth, I'll wait... done yet? Got yourself together now? Good, good, don't want you wreckin' your keyboard from all the slober. LOL

Okay, ready for the deets Peeps?

Nighty Night!!! :)

Feeling a little Prickly?

I am.

And while we don't have "apricot" colored cacti in Arizona we do have a bluish/purplish colored cactus that is BEAUTIFUL!!! Sigh...I hate to admit it, but there are days that I really LIKE Arizona, today is one of them. It was a gorgeous day in the desert today. Perfect temps, everything is in bloom, birds are chirping, scorpions are probably getting their move on (not that I like them, cause I REALLY don't!) makes me..."almost" like it here. :)

All stamps are from Rosies Roadshow. What can I say? I HAD to HAVE THEM. I live in the desert people. LOL

Alright, it's late, I need to hit the sack. See ya tomorrow... I hope. :)

Night Peeps!

Is this the cutest thing or what? These little guys have so much personality, I love it! Love that big circle too, taking over the whole card like that. NICE! :)
