Where is Karrie?

Well, the only reason I would disappear is... work. Work is a little crazy right now as people are  starting to panic about missing out on the $8000 home credit for first time home buyers. So what does that mean? Everyone is trying to cram a mortgage loan in at the last minute. It is going to be INSANE for the rest of this month and probably all of next month. I am sooooo not looking forward to this BUT it is what it is, right? RIGHT?

I am so bummed because I was on a roll with sharing my cards with all of you. Sigh... I am going to try sneaking in some stamping (as much as possible) but I also need to spend time with the hubster and my sweet babies, Molly & Bailey. Speaking of my sweet babies, I better go let them. They are outside checking the backyard for the "bag guys" right now, aka kitties. No, no, NO! They would never hurt the kitties, they were raised with them and just want to play with them. I am telling you, they are truly "sweet babies!!" Puppykisses

Be right back...

Okay, I am back, YEAH! And...I have a card to share today...WOOT! WOOT!

For this fun card I used the Limited Edition Monkey Business stamp set from Odd Bird Planet. I also used another die cut card from Creative Cuts & More. Card making made easy. Something that I really need right now. LOL

So enough about my card. It is still pretty early and hubby is asleep still. This is a miracle since he NEVER sleeps in. He is ALWAYS up by 3am (or earlier). Crazy, I know. Maybe he is getting his rest cause he knows it is going to be a busy day with football. Especially with the Vikings, Cowboys & Cardinals playing at all different times. Anywho, I better get some stamping in while I can.

Hope you all have a FANTASTIC Sunday!

I survived!

Yessirree!! I made it to TUESDAY! Woohoo!!! LOL

I kicked butt at work yesterday and even took a few names. I plan on doing the same again today. I just hope my boss is ready for me! Poor guy, I think someone should have warned him about me. But then...what fun would that have been??? hahahaha

Enough about work, wanna see my card for today? I know Dana does...

This little guy is from the Limited Edition Squirrel set from Odd Bird Planet. One of my FAVORITE stamp sets EVER! The squirrels crack me up! Just thinking about them brings a smile to my face! I am definitely going to have to pull this set out more often. Yeah!

Alrighty then, I am off like a prom dress.

See you later!!

Yeah for Mondays...

Okay, so...not really. It is actually my least favorite day of the week. LOL

Right now I am looking forward to 4pm cause at 4pm, I will be racing for the door and heading home. YEAH!

But enough about my Monday blues, how about a card?

I made this card with my Edgar owl stamp, happy birdie to you saying and popped top present from Odd Bird Planet. The card is from Creative Cuts & More. Super cute & super easy!

So there you have it. A little something for your viewing pleasure.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Monday!

Havin' a Hootin' Good Time!

Hubby & I have already been out to get some coffee & breakfast and are now sitting on the couch catching up on Criminal Minds & Bones. As soon as Bones is over I am headed to the office for a little stamp time. YES! It feels so good to enjoy stamping again. I feel so inspired. Just wish I had my Sis and Dana here stamping with me.

So far, my weekend has been very relaxing! I even did some stamping yesterday...WOOT! WOOT! I still have some laundry to finish today but other than that? I am FREE!! YEAH!!!

I made this card with the What a Hoot stamp set from Hero Arts. The fab die cut card is from Creative Cuts & More made out of my FAVE Bazzill Textured Cardstock. YUMMY! LOL

Alrighty then, I better hit the road. Happy Sunday Peeps!

See ya later,

Hi Pumpkin...

Whatcha up to today? Anything special? Me? Welllllll... my house is clean and I am currently doing the laundry so my day is looking GOOD! In fact, it is looking sooooo GOOD that I am about ready to clean off my stamp desk and get CREATIVE! Woot! WOOT!

I made this card using the just-ate-a-pumpkin-owl stamp and the hi pumpkin saying from Odd Bird Planet. The die cut card is from Creative Cuts & More. I used my waterbrush & re-inkers for coloring. Such a fun little card.

So there you have it. Something to get you into the fall mood! I think an apple crisp is in my future as well as stamping. Yeah, definitely, that sounds YUMMY and will seal the deal on the whole "fall thing!" LOL

Hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

Peace in the Pasture Peeps!

Hello Thursday...

Can you tell Friday to hurry up and get here? Cause my vacation high is gone and I am in need of the weekend.

Do you have big plans this weekend? I don't. I am hoping that Robert and I can take in a movie and get the house cleaned but other than that...I see stamping in my future. Lots of stamping. YEAH!

All stamps used to make this card are from Odd Bird Planet. I think I am going to need to dress this little lady for Halloween. The bag can be a trick or treat bag, don't you think? She is such a sassy little thing. LOL

Oh geez, look at the time. I best get my rear in gear.

See you Peeps tomorrow!

Happy Hump Day!

It's already the middle of the week. Can you believe it? Time is flying. FAST. Before you know it, it will be 2010. Before you know, I am going to be 39...then 40.  Yikes! I don't know if I am ready for 40. Not that 40 is old. I actually think it is the new 20, don't you? I knew you would agree with me. LOL

Am I babbling again? Sorry. My mind is running crazy right now. UGH! I think I will just shut my pie hole and flash you another card. LOL

While I was over at Dana's I had a chance to play with some of her Hero Arts owls. Oh my word, this little guy is so CUTE! And these colors? I would NEVER, EVER have thought to put them together and yet... I LOVE THEM! That BG paper really makes the card. OH! Did you see what I did with the button? I didn't have any thin ribbon so I cut a tiny strip of paper and used it like ribbon. So happy with how that turned out. But enough about me and my card. LOL

I am off to get ready for work. Hope the rest of your work week goes by super fast!

See you Peeps later!

Knock, knock...

Who's there? Anyone? Anyone out there? Where is everyone? I feel so lonely out here all by myself in cyber-space.  Sigh...

What to do, what to do...guess I should post another card or something. Yep, sounds like a plan!

For this card I used Jenmarie's sleepy eyes owl and the "I want to espresso my gratitude" saying from Odd Bird Planet. I made this card for my friend Nicole. She was so sweet and bought me a Starbucks gift card for my Happy Birthday. It was only right to make her a Starbucks thank you card, don't you think? LOL

So there you have it. Don't really have much else to say other than I hope you have a ROCKIN' week this week!

See you Peeps later,

Still on my vacation high...

Do you think it will last through the day or end the minute I step through the doors at work? Just curious.

I am thinking it will end as soon as I step out of the shower and have to get ready for work. LOL

So what do I have for you today? Well, let's see...

Anyone want some fresh fruit? Looks yummy, huh? I know, I know...mmmmm,mmmmm...

How about some more fresh fruit?

I used the Strawberry Topiary stamp from Odd Bird Planet. On the inside of the card I used the OBP saying "Bless Your Berry Pickin' little Heart." That awesome embossed background was made with my Quickutz embossing folder. I have to admit, I like the QK embossing folders better than the Cuttlebug ones. Why you ask? Well, my Cuttlebug ones tend to cut my paper. Don't get me wrong, I love the sharp embossed look CB gives but sometimes it is hard to get the paper to lay right when you have little rips in it. Know what I mean?

So anyway, there you have it. More fruity fun from my stamp room this past weekend. Love it!

On that note, I better hit the showers. Have a magnificent Monday Peeps!

My last day...

of vacation that is. I am so bummed. Robert and I had a busy week of doing nothing. Don't get me wrong, we didn't really do "nothing" but we didn't do "something." Something that would make me want to go into work and share it with my co-workers, know what I mean?

I did get a bunch of stamping done over the past several days though. That is a NICE feeling. I am feeling the need TO STAMP whereas the past couple of months it has been a struggle for me. I would just go in the office, sit there, watch tv, let my stamp cleaning pad dry out and make nothing. It made me question whether I should give up stamping. That is not acceptable to me, especially since it is something I LOVE to do.

Anywho, I better quit blabbing and show you another card, eh? Quickly now...LOL

This funny card is made using the Limited Edition Monkey Business Kit from Odd Bird Planet. I also used one of the hats from the pointy hats stamp so that Mr. Monkey could get his party on. The colorful background paper is from WeRMemory Keepers. I have to admit, I was cracking up as I made this card. These monkey stamps are hysterical. You can make them do anything you want since all the body parts are separate from each other. You could even make him pick his nose! LOL

Okay, I am off to watch a little tv and then I am headed to the stamp room for some more creative time. I think I am addicted again. WOOT! WOOT!

Oh geez, laundry is buzzing, guess I better get that done too!

Happy Sunday Peeps!
