I can't believe how late I am with this past weeks TCP Challenge card. I barely made it...we are talking hairs on my chin!! LOL

This weeks challenge for TCP Tuesday at The Cat's Pajamas was to make a Christmas card and use the Big Scallop Die.

Snow reminds me of Christmas so... check, Big Scallop Die...check, check!!

Card Deets:

  • Stamps: All from The Cat's Pajamas
  • Paper: Dp from Martha Stewart, Pool Party & Basic Grey
  • Inks: Black
  • Misc: Big Scallop Die & Snowflake Lace Die from The Cat's Pajamas, QK Label Die for the cutout in the middle (doesn't that match perfect???), Ribbon & Crystal Brad

Well my friends, there you have it. Now, I must lay my pretty little head down & get some shut eye!!

Nighty night!!

TCPTUES188 Challenge

Whew, I just barely made it for the Cat's Pajamas color challenge this week. Did you see the color combo? So yummy!!

Here's my card for the challenge for this week...

I used three different stamp sets from TCP to make this card. I was having a hard time finding the perfect saying for my card so I went ahead and used one of the alpha sets to make the "christmewe" below the image. What can I say? Sometimes you have to do what you have to do!! LOL

Card deets:

  • Stamps: All from The Cat's Pajamas
  • Paper: Echo Park, Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette & Cryogen White
  • Inks: Black & Copics
  • Misc: Snow Marker, White Brad, Snowflake & Ribbon Slot dies from TCP, Label dies from Quickutz, Sewing machine & Red & Pink Ribbon

Well, I think that's it for tonight. Hope you enjoyed my card!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Such a pretty bird...

I saw this stamp from Memory Box and had to have it. Much like all the other stamps I have...LOL

I also used my new Snowflake Lace die from The Cat's Pajamas, talk about love!! pretty!

Card deets:

  • Stamps: Memory Box
  • Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Cryogen White & Kraft
  • Inks: Black & Copics
  • Misc: Snowflake Lace die from TCP, Ribbon, Tiny Bell & Stickles

I haven't decided what Christmas saying I am putting inside the card yet. I think I need to sleep on it, you know, mull it over a bit. That being said, I need to get going. Work is calling.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Alright Dad, you asked for it...

So here it is...

The picture isn't the best but I didn't want to use the flash on my camera. There are so many ornaments jammed on it that I couldn't add any garland. Wait til you see it in person, you will get a good chuckle out of it.

Oh! Before I forget. Guess who has been a good girl lately? Libby. She hasn't touched a single ornament on the tree!! YEAH!! She's also turned into a people slut. I think she would go home with anyone who would take her. I may have to change her name tag from " Bad Bad Girl" to " No, really, you should send her home NOW before she destroys something." hahhahahaha

Alright, I better go. Hope you enjoyed your stay at the cabin last night.

Love you!

Kare xoxo

TCPTUES187 Challenge

It's a supply/technique challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas this week. All you have to do is get your bling/shine on.

So I did...

A close up of the wreath & glitter...

Purty, purty, huh? I actually have two versions of the above card and my Hubby liked this one the best so...tah-dahhhhhhh!!!

Card deets:

  • Stamps: All from The Cat's Pajamas
  • Paper: Kraft
  • Inks: Black & Copics
  • Misc: Stickles, Glossy Accents by Ranger, Cranberry Seam Binding from TCP, Button & Holiday Divine Twine

Easy & simple enough, huh? And yet, the more I look at it, the more I LOVE happy right now...

Alright, I am off like a prom dress. There is still a house to clean, laundry to do & Christmas lights to hang. YIKES!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas stamp-a-thon this weekend!

So last night I pulled out a stack of stamps that I wanted to use for some of my Christmas cards this year. I am so excited because I have plans to use sets/stamps that I have had for awhile but haven't used.

It always amazes me how we, as stampers, can buy, buy, buy and not always use, use, use. Which reminds me, I have some new Cat's Pajamas stamps coming my way.               Happy, happy, joy, joy!! Xmasshopper <- yes, this has been me lately. LOL

My only other plan this weekend is to get my lights hung on the front of the house and finish decorating the inside. I should be able to do that in two snaps & a shake.

<- Unless this happens to me...LOL

Alright, I better get to work. See you all this weekend with some CHRISTMAS CARDS!! WOOT! WOOT!!

Thanks for stopping by!
