Misc Cards

Again, time has run away from me...

I have a few cards to share but have let time get the best of me. Perhaps a class in time management would be helpful? LOL

This is a card I made for my Sis...

IMG_1895

I used my set, So Empty Coffee, from Unity Stamp Co. It's a fun little set with 3 stamps in it. I have to say, I really enjoy Unity stamps as they are unmounted but made with rubber. The images always turn out great. Don't get me wrong, I love clear stamps but when it comes right down to it? Nothing beats rubber!

Alright, well, I am signing off for now. I am actually on vacation in Montana this week with my Sis & my Mom. We are headed down to Missoula for shopping, antiquing, coffee, etc. It should be a FUN time!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

How fun is that "Java Queen?" I like that she looks good in a solid color. It made it EASY to whip this card together.

Speaking of Java, it's time for me to get some COFFEE and get my day started!

Flashback card...

it's an old CTMH set. Do you remember all those fairy sets that CTMH had that were impossible to color? Oh right, that must have just been me that thought that. I had a terrible time with them. I still do, but thanks to copic markers, my coloring turned out a little better, see..

Ctmhflowerfairies
The coloring is 10X more vibrant with copics than watercoloring!! Maybe the watercoloring was my problem?? LOL Heck, not even chalks worked for me. It was depressing. Especially since I really loved those fairy sets!!

Card deets:

  • Stamps: Flower Fairies from CTMH
  • Paper: Purple, Red & White
  • Inks: Momento & Copic Markers
  • Misc: Stickles & Nesties

I have one more flashback card for tomorrow. Wait till you see that one! LOL

Alright, I am off like a prom dress. Catch up with you later!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sometimes you need a manly card...

I don't know about you, but I struggle to find the right stamps to use on my manly man cards. I never seem to have the right stamps for the right card when it comes to men. So frustrating.

Any who, here is the card that I made for my Dad for Father's Day. Since I live in AZ it seemed appropriate....

Tmcactus

The inside of the card has "Happy Father's Day!" stamped on it.

Card deets:

  • Stamps: Terry Medaris
  • Paper: Pacific Blue, Rust & White
  • Inks: Momento Tuxedo Black & Copic Markers
  • Misc: Twine

On-a-side-note

Today I should be cracking the whip & cleaning this house but...the couch seems to be drawing me in. I am hoping to get at least 1/2 the house done, some laundry, a little stamping or quilting and then tonight? I am headed to a Diamondbacks Baseball game with my friend Debbie. It should be a good, relaxing, semi-productive day, don't you think?

Alright, I better get off the computer. I hope you have a FANTASTIC day today!

Thanks for stopping by!
