Poppy Stamps

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...

I couldn't get enough of the little gnomes from Poppy Stamps the other day so I went ahead & made a card with this little cutie...

Doesn't this card scream Spring?

I know it feels like summer as of late (at least here in AZ it feels like that) but technically it is still considered spring, right? Or is it post spring, pre summer? Or "it's too early for it to be this hot!" LOL

Only a couple more days left in November...

and then the fun REALLY starts, huh? LOL

Have you all started your Christmas shopping? I have. In fact, I just have a few more presents to get and then I am officially DONE. Well, except for Christmas shopping for MYSELF. LOL

Did I tell you? While my Sis was here we did some crafting, stamping, shopping, chatting, movie watching, toe tapping to some great music and a little coffee drinking. Not as much coffee drinking as we would have liked but enough to get us by.

This was one of our finer moments...

We made those fabulous mustahes out of fimo clay. Fun, huh? Here is a look at some of the other ones:

I am sure these little funnies will provide us with hours of entertainment in the years to come!

I did mention that we did some stamping, right? As you know, I have a reputation for being LATE for EVERYTHING! And missing birthdays is not unusual for me. Here is a belated birthday card that I made for my niece, Makayla...

Even though this picture doesn't show it, I actually went in afterwards and added glitter to the balloons. It turned out super cute & super sparkly. LOVE THAT!!

Card deets:

  • Stamps: Poppystamps
  • Paper: Memory Box, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose & Cryogen White
  • Inks: Tuxedo Black & Copics
  • Misc: My Favorite Things cloud die(s) which I cut in half to match the clouds on the paper

There you have it my friends, hope you enjoyed my silly pic & my card. Enjoy your Saturday and hey...

You're an Angel...

sometimes. No, not all the time, but sometimes.

But this little angel? Mmmm, sweet ALL THE TIME! How could anyone resist that sweet face? Oh my, it just gets me...right there, ya know? :)

Did everyone survive their Monday okay? I did. As soon as I got done with work I went out and bought fabric for a quilt I am gonna to make. Yes, I know. I am really tempting the sewing Gods now. I don't know what I am getting myself into but I am going to give it my best shot. Keep your fingers crossed for me, would you? If I get a chance tonight, I will take a pic of my fabric. It is fall colors, to match my house of course. :)

Alright, I better jet. Hope you all have a titillating Tuesday!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Tuesday, it's me, Karrie...

Can you tell me if you have seen Friday? I have been searching for him since yesterday. LOL

Did I tell you that Libby & I have a new routine? We have been walking in the morning and again as soon as I get home. The whole idea is to tire her out so that she will quit destroying the backyard. So far...so GOOD!! The destruction has decreased, it's amazing. Notice I didn't say that the destruction is over, oh no, it is still there, but it is definitely less than it was and it has only been TWO DAYS! WOOHOO!!! I love it! Plus, I am getting some much needed exercise. DOUBLE YAHOO!!!

What was that? Where is my card? Well, aren't you a pushy one! LOL

  • Stamps: Poppy Stamps & A-muse
  • Paper: Rose Red, Vanilla & Cosmo Cricket
  • Inks: Black Versafine, Waterbrush & Re-inkers
  • Misc: Martha Stewart Punch, Ribbon & Button

I love these little gnomes from Poppy Stamps. The images are too sweet. I really need to use them more often!! But that will have to wait for another day as I really need to hit the sack.

I hope you all have a great day tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 6 & 7 of my Christmas Countdown...

Yesssmileyf  I am officially caught up! I am even staying up late to get this posted to my blog. Don't you feel special?? You should. LOL

You will be happy to know that my Sunday was NOT as lazy as my Saturday. I busted butt, got the house cleaned, laundry done and even STAMPED a couple cards. I was on FIRE! I even BBQ'd some chicken and cleaned up the destruction zone (compliments of Libby).

Oh yes, my sweet little angel has decided that it is her mission in life to chew all the drip lines, eat the garbage can lid, tear up the BBQ cover and trim/prune our Pygmy Palms. There are even two missing lantanas, not sure where those crawled off to... Oh to be a lab puppy. It must be a wondrous thing!!

This is what she looks like when she is done...

pooped! LOLOLOL

Alright, so enough about my puppy troubles...here is my card for Day 6...

Love these yummy colors. And yes, I absolutely love the new Cat's Pajamas sets. Dang it. Sucked in AHHHH-GAIN! LOL

Okay, so here is Day 7...

For this super cute card I used my new Poppy Stamps. Have you bought any of these little beauties yet? Oh my, they TOTALLY make me smile. So fun! And yes, I am a little partial to my Molly...that is why all the little dogs get colored a golden yellow...LOL Don't you dare tell my little Bailey or Libby that I said that about Molly. Cause I love them just as much as Molly. I do, I really, really do!!

Oh boy, speaking of my sweet babies, Libby is crying. She had a rough day at the Vet today so I better go. She needs me to snuggle with her and make her all better. I will see you Peeps tomorrow.

Have a GREAT night!

Day 1 of my Christmas Countdown...WOOT! WOOT!

Are you ready to Celebrate the Season? I haven't quite decided if I am or not. Maybe it's just the funk I am in. Maybe it's because 2009 has flown by and I am not even sure where it went. I have to admit that I am a teeny, tiny bit excited about 2010. I mean, what's in store for me? What's in store for my family? Will it be the year of all years? A girl can only hope... :)

So back today, eh? Wanna see my card? Cause I realllllllllllly wanna show you!

I was playing with my new Poppy Stamps and I had to make sure the little dog looked like my Molly. I honestly think she would love the snow and running after a little boy? Oh yeah, that would totally be up her alley! LOL

The little scallop edge is a new Martha Stewart punch that I picked up a couple of weeks ago. The edge is embossed but I am not sure you can see it all that well in my photo. How about those yummy colors? Mmmm, mmm... :)

Oh my, Molly just came up to me to let me know she is ready for bed & a cookie. I guess I better go and take care of my pretty girl. She is sooooo DEMANDING! Not that I mind. She has me wrapped around her paw...LOL

Alrighty then, I am off! See you Peeps later!

What a cutie...

These little Poppy Stamps have really done a number on me. I can't stop staring at them. Their sweet little faces, their cute clothes...sigh...I am in love!

Once again a-muse had the PERFECT saying to go with this stamp. So cute. And these colors? They are really speaking to me right now. How can you go wrong with Cool Caribbean & Real Red? HELLO!! LOL

Oh! Before I jet, I have some FUN news to share. My Sis and I are going to co-author a new blog. We are going to try out TWO new recipes a week (each, I think) and post them to the ole (new) blog. We will be posting pics of our master pieces as well as the recipe for you to try. It should be a BLAST!! We will let you know as soon as we are ready for our BIG LAUNCH! I can't wait to get busy in the kitchen!! YEAH!!

Anywho, that's it for tonight. I have a super FUN card to share tomorrow. The colors are FAB!! Keep your britches on and I will see YOU tomorrow night! Yippee YAHOO!!!

Peace in the Pasture Peeps!
