Havin' a little change up today!!

Taking a quick break from Rosie's Roadshow. I promise to get back to RR, I do. I just need to post this one card & then I will get back to rockin' those Rosie cards!! :)

I think this is one of the funnest sets from SU!. I haven't used it in forever and well, I decided to dust it off & put it to use. This is the card that I ended up with by the time I was done. Yep, another simple & quick one, but fun none the less! Love the color combo too! :)

Hope you have a fun Friday! See you tomorrow!

Card Deets:

  • Stamps: Stewpot Pals from SU!
  • Paper: Pumpkin, Apricot, Turquoise & White
  • Inks: Black Momento & Copics
  • Misc: Die from Papertrey Ink

I stamped...

It's been ahwile, but I did it. Just like riding a bike, right?

Challenge chicks

So the card I made was for the Challenge Chicks monthly challenge for April which was to do some spring cleaning & use an old stamp set. I used my RETIRED Stampin' Up! set "Birthday Banter" and whipped up this little ditty:

Even though I am behind a month on the challenge at least I was able to take time & stamp a card. Heck, I even made a baby shower card last night (will share that tomorrow), WOOHOO!!!

Card deets:

  • Stamps: Su! Birthday Banter & Bitty Backgrounds
  • Paper: Green Galore, Pink Passion, Gable Green & White Tag
  • Inks: Black, YoYo Yellow, Green Galore & waterbrush with reinkers
  • Misc: QK dies & ribbon

Off to start working on the Color Challenge for this month (Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry & Tangerine Tango)...mmmmm!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happily Ever After...

I was commissioned to make a wedding card for a friend at work. The young couples colors were a lime green (almost neon) and pink. I did the best that I could to match it, here's the card I made...

I have a tiny little stash of Lucious Lime left from FOREVER AGO... so I used that and Pink Passion to whip together this card.

Card Deets:

  • Stamps: Mixed Bouquet from SU! & saying from a*muse
  • Paper: Lucious Lime, Pink Passion & White
  • Inks: Lucious Lime & Pink Passion
  • Misc: Ribbon, Nesties & Stickles

I was pretty pleased with the end result. YEAH!

I have been completely & utterly LAZY this weekend! I spent all day laying around & reading yesterday (plus a couple of hours this morning). My friend Esther informed me that I HAD TO read "The Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness. O...M...G!!!! Loved it!!

I already started the second book "Shadow of Night" (so friggin' excited!!!). If you like witches, vampires, etc, you will definitely need to add these books to your reading list!

Alright, I am off to watch a movie with my hubby.

Have a great night & thanks for stopping by!!!

She strikes AGAIN!

YES! I stamped and it felt GOOD! Like wrapping up in your favorite blanket on the couch with your favorite movie...mmmmmm...yahhhhhhhhh!!!! LOVE THAT!

Did I tell you that I have birthdays coming out the..."blank"...right now? Yikes! I have to make three more cards by the end of the week. Double YIKES!! No pressure or anything, right? LOLOL

I pulled out one of my favorite SU! sets for this card. Every stamp in Birthday Banter cracks me up. And yes, on the inside of the card I used the saying, " I know how much women your age enjoy a floral moo-moo! Happy Birthday!" I mean, c'mon, who wouldn't bust a gut reading that? Right? RIGHT!

Shoot, look at the time, I better jet, I need to take the bad, bad, girl for a walk this morning. heehee

Thanks for stopping by!!!
