Whew, I just barely made it for the Cat's Pajamas color challenge this week. Did you see the color combo? So yummy!!

Here's my card for the challenge for this week...

I used three different stamp sets from TCP to make this card. I was having a hard time finding the perfect saying for my card so I went ahead and used one of the alpha sets to make the "christmewe" below the image. What can I say? Sometimes you have to do what you have to do!! LOL

Thanks for stopping by!

TCPTUES182 Challenge

It's 1:49am and I am sitting up watching movies & stamping a card. Who knew. LOL

I decided to whip one out for The Cat's Pajamas challenge for this week. It took me FOREVER to find a piece of acetate though. I used to have a pretty decent stash of it but some how, some way, during the move...I LOST IT. How is that possible?

Anywho, here's what I came up with...

And here's a little more detail on the cute little witch...

I used the "Witch way is the candy?" saying on the inside. I just need to figure out who I am going to give it to. LOL

Card deets:

  • Stamps: Withcy from The Cat's Pajamas
  • Paper: Pumpkin Pie, White & K & Company Halloween Pad
  • Inks: Tuxedo Black & Copic Markers
  • Misc: Spiderweb embossing folder from Cuttlebuy, Nesties, TCP Button, Halloween Divine Twine, Acetate, Mini Brads & Sakura Glitter Pen

Oh my, look at the time. Call me crazy but maybe I should get some sleep? Yawnnnnnnn....LOL

See ya around!

TCPTUES167 Challenge

It was a technique challenge (watercoloring) this week over at The Cat's of my FAVORITE techniques! Wanna know why? Cause it is OKAY to be SPLOPPY!! LOL

Here is my card for this weeks challenge...

So I had a few "firsts" with this was my first time using seam binding...LOVE IT! It was my first time making a flower out of ribbon...LOVE IT!! (And, uh, hello, could it get any easier??? Why are we paying tons of money to buy our embellishments? Seriously people! UGH!) And last, it was my first time watercoloring on Crate Paper DP. I found it a little challenging, as I was not able to control my color as much as I would have liked. You are probably thinking, "why would you want to control it? YOU ARE WATERCOLORING!! And WATERCOLORING = SLOPPY!" I know, I know but there is that control freak side of me that likes to stay within the lines on certain things...even when watercoloring. LOL

Card Deets:

  • Stamps: All from The Cat's Pajamas
  • Paper: Crate Paper, Peach Parfait & Baja Breeze
  • Inks: Black Versafine, re-inkers & waterbrush
  • Misc: Seam Binding & Button from The Cat's Pajamas, Nesties

Well, there you have it. I hope you enjoy it!!
