Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is on it's way...

Are you ready for it? Is your bumm ready to expand with all the eating you are about to do? Don't give me that look, you know what I am talking about. It happens to all of us. We mean well, but in the end, who can resist all the candy, desserts and good food that is cooked over the holidays?  Seriously! LOL

So I survived October, barely. It was insane, crazy, FRUSTRATING, tiring, you name it, it was all of that! But alas, here I am. Ready to start another month. Keeping positive thoughts. Looking forward to seeing, no, wait, I AM MEETING, Ree Drummond aka Pioneer Woman, on November 5th!! I have a stamp date planned with my friend Dana on the 14th. I also have a girls day planned on the 21st to go see NEW MOON with a bunch of girls from work and then there is Thanksgiving. Such a busy month and I am sure that is not all that will be going on. You know why? Cause Christmas is next month and I need to get my Christmas cards made ON TIME this year. Plus, I have several home-made gifts I am wanting to make so I really need to step it up. I just pray that I am able to get everything done in a timely fashion this year. No late presents or cards for the rest of the year...I hope! LOL

But enough about that, how about a card?

 

I made this card using the Limited Edition Penguin set from Odd Bird Planet. This set sold out in record time last year. I feel so lucky that I was able to get it. The penguins are to die for in it. You just can't mess around when Johanna puts these sets up for sale. No joke! LOL The background paper is a couple of years old. Love that color combination...yummy!

Alright, well, Molly is licking my arm. I think she needs me to give her some love. Hope you all have a restful Sunday full of good football! I know I have laundry and a dirty house waiting for me. LOL

love it! I also didn't mess around and ordered the penguins as soon as they came out. I made the mistake of not ordering time with the squirrels and learned my lesson. I think I have this patterned paper. Is it Paper Salon? I was sorry when they went out of business.
