I started my vacation out right & spent the day quilting with my friend Dana on Saturday. We had a GREAT day. Dana truly is the hostess with the mostest and to top it all off? We got a LOT accomplished! Love that!
Since my day was a little bit, okay, let's be honest, a whole lot of, sunshine on Saturday I have this card to share...
Simple but cute. I love how it came together.
Card deets:
- Stamps: All from Rosie's Roashow
- Paper: White & Farmhouse by Crate Paper
- Inks: Brown, Certainly Celery, waterbrush & re-inkers
- Misc: Jute, Button, Nesties, Sewing Machine
Yesterday I spent most of the day ripping a seam from one side of two quilts that I had been working on, on Saturday. It's amazing how one little mistake can cost you so much time. Needless to say I learned from it and won't be making that same mistake twice! LOL
Today I am going to put together my quilt basting wall in our single car garage (so excited about that!). It should make basting the quilt 10x easier, especially with one person. I also have more laundry to do & really need to clean the house so that I can enjoy the rest of our vacation. I definitely see more quilting, stamping, movie watching & experimental cooking in the week ahead. Sound like a PERFECT vacation to me!!
All right, I am off to the races.
Have a wonderful & relaxing Labor Day!!!
By the way...thanks for stopping by!! :)
I want to grow them again in my garden...I have to wait a whole year....{sigh}
