Holy Guacamole!

I forgot your Happy Birthday!! This set, No Way, from Avery Elle is all kinds of fun. The sayings alone are hilarious. And who doesn't love avocados??? LOL 

So today is my 47th birthday. Can you believe it? I am having a low key day. Haven't even made it out of my jammies and I don't think I will. Laundry is going and it's overcast outside. Already took a quick 30 min nap and sent my hubby to the store to pick up our groceries. Not only did he come back with the groceries but he came back with a mint chip ice cream cake from BASKIN ROBBINS!! He remembered how much I love mint chip ice cream. I love that. I think I will keep him.

I've got a whole lotta Llama Love...

for you & you only. I made this card last year sometime and never shared it. It's crazy how many cards I have just laying around. I am slowly making my way through them though. In fact, I think I have already posted more in 2018 than I have for the past 3 years or so. Isn't that crazy?? 

I love the colors in the background paper. I can't even remember what company it is from. I do know that the stamp set is Llama Love from My Favorite Things. There are also matching dies. LOVE THAT!!

Birthdays bite...

Especially as we get older. LOL I am going to be 47 in less than 2 weeks. What the heck? Where did the time go? Wasn't I just in high school a few years ago? Or turning 21 and having my first legal drink while playing blackjack at the Hilton in Reno? Crazy how time flies, doesn't it? Sheesh. 

So this fun card was made using the set "That Bites" from Avery Elle. It is a super simple card. I just used white card stock and colored them up with my Copics. Did I mention this set has matching dies? It does. (Matching dies ALWAYS made me happy!!)

Birthdays are like hairballs...

the more you have the more you want to gag...LOLOLOL This set from Stampin' Up! has some of the funniest images in it. It's been forever since I was demonstrator for SU! but I still enjoy their stamps. Speaking of being a demo...I have to admit that was one of the best side jobs! Who doesn't love to stamp AND get paid for it? And then to get all of your friends addicted too? Who doesn't love that? LOL

Getting caught up...

Not sure how this is even possible but I found some cards that I never posted. Needless to say I will be posting them over the next week or so to get caught up. I am also working on some new cards because the birthday list never stops and then the holidays are coming. Who knows, maybe I will actually send out the holiday cards I make this year. I better not say that ...it might jinx me. Scratch that. LOL

The above card was made using some of the cutest stamps EVER from Rosie's Roadshow. That handsome guy, front & center, is Leonard. The balloon, party hat & saying are all from Rosie's. If you haven't played with these stamps, you really should... they are addictive! 

Today, Hubby & I are off to look at some barn wood. We need two floating shelves for my new coffee bar area that I am putting together. (Yes, I will post pics when I am done) Keeping my fingers crossed that we will find something we like.

Sweet Sloths

Sloths are slow, I am late. We are perfect for each other. LOL I have been stock piling belated birthday cards lately. It's working out well for me. :)

I made this sweet card with the Sweet Sloths set from My Favorite Things. The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I used a homemade cloud stencil in the back and the cute gingham paper is from amuse studio.
