Happily Ever After...

I was commissioned to make a wedding card for a friend at work. The young couples colors were a lime green (almost neon) and pink. I did the best that I could to match it, here's the card I made...

I have a tiny little stash of Lucious Lime left from FOREVER AGO... so I used that and Pink Passion to whip together this card.

I was pretty pleased with the end result. YEAH!

I have been completely & utterly LAZY this weekend! I spent all day laying around & reading yesterday (plus a couple of hours this morning). My friend Esther informed me that I HAD TO read "The Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness. O...M...G!!!! Loved it!!

I already started the second book "Shadow of Night" (so friggin' excited!!!). If you like witches, vampires, etc, you will definitely need to add these books to your reading list!

Alright, I am off to watch a movie with my hubby.

Whatcha been reading?

So, ever since those darn Twilight books, I have been OBSESSED with vampires, werewolves, supernatural, paranormal, blah, blah, blah. I blame my friend, Dana, for the whole thing. If she hadn't introduced me to Bella Swan & the Cullens, well, I would just be reading my favorite historic/western novels with a romance thrown in here and there. But nooooo, Dana had to go & corrupt me and it has been downhill since then. UGH!

That being said, I have read the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris (which, if you ask me, is 20x better than True Blood on HBO, just sayin'...) and Women from the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong. Both sets of books were very entertaining and kept my interest through the entire series. Bottom line, if you like Vamps & the Paranormal, I think you will like these books.

Before I head out, tell me, what books have you been reading?? Anything I might like? If so, do share. I am ALWAYS looking for more to read!
