Under a little cloud today...

I am so tickled with how this card turned out. I used my Cricut Maker to cut out the clouds, placed some blue cardstock behind it and then stamped the hot air balloon from Rosie's Roadshow. Sometimes the simplest cards are the most gratifying, aren't they? 

So last week Robert came down with a cold. I was determined not to get sick, I even slept in the spare bedroom but alas it caught up with me yesterday morning. Tickle in the throat, sinus pain, headache, neck ache. I am a mess. Hoping it passes quick! Until then I will continue drinking fluids...tons of fluids!

Christmas Cheer!

So, how about a little Christmas Cheer? It's that time of year stampers. Time to start stock piling those Christmas cards! LOL I am trying to slip one in every now & again. This one has been sitting for a couple of months though & I just realized I haven't shared it yet. WHAT?!? It happens all the time with me. Trying to make up for lost time I guess.

I have had this card sitting on my desk for a couple of years. I kept staring at it. I finally picked it up and colored the bench and then added the clouds. It turned out super sweet. I don't know if you can see it or not but the dog has a little wire halo over his head. I really need to get it sent out to the intended party.

This was my first attempt at making a scene with Rosie's Roadshow stamps. I would be lying if I didn't tell you how excited I was with how it turned out. The slight shading on the mountains & the blue for the sky? I think I may have done a happy dance or two. LOL

I know there is always room for improvement but for my first time? I am feeling pretty accomplished!

Candy corn or costume?

Shelley from Rosie's Roadshow decided on the BEST costume this year. So cute, so creative! I love it! I could just eat her up. LOL Well, not really. I am not a fan of candy corn, it's cute and all but I don't like the taste. Yuck. Anywho, she looks adorable and I love her outfit choice!!

So I started decorating for Halloween this week. I have these two life size skeletons named Larry & June that are sitting outside in lawn chairs. I will make sure to take a picture of them for you because they are out there having a GOOD time! LOL

What are you going as for Halloween?

Persephone from Rosie's Roadshow already has her Halloween costume picked out. She has been dying to take a trip to the moon. I think her wellies make pretty great moon boots if you ask me. LOL I also did a little doodling and made her a belt as well as a helmet for her trip. Doesn't she look the part? I love it. This was also my first time with the night coloring (Thanks Sandy Allnock for the inspiration!!) and the free hand moon. It's amazing what you can do with Copic markers!

Getting caught up...

Not sure how this is even possible but I found some cards that I never posted. Needless to say I will be posting them over the next week or so to get caught up. I am also working on some new cards because the birthday list never stops and then the holidays are coming. Who knows, maybe I will actually send out the holiday cards I make this year. I better not say that ...it might jinx me. Scratch that. LOL

The above card was made using some of the cutest stamps EVER from Rosie's Roadshow. That handsome guy, front & center, is Leonard. The balloon, party hat & saying are all from Rosie's. If you haven't played with these stamps, you really should... they are addictive! 

Today, Hubby & I are off to look at some barn wood. We need two floating shelves for my new coffee bar area that I am putting together. (Yes, I will post pics when I am done) Keeping my fingers crossed that we will find something we like.

When in doubt...twirl!

I'd like to twirl my way right out of having to go to work tomorrow (Monday). I need a couple days by myself. Seriously. 

Back to my card...doesn't Daisy look like she is having a good time? I think so. Makes me want to jump up & do a little twirl myself. LOL

It's a birthday palooza around here!

I am late with several birthday cards & needed to stock up for a few upcoming birthdays. I swear, it's a never ending cycle around here. LOL

How sweet is this card? I love how simple it is and you can't go wrong with kraft paper, can you??? The stamps from Rosie's Roadshow are what really make it though!! THANKS ROSIE!!

I am also lovin' Copics on kraft paper. Definitely a different look. :)
